I think the Instagram Story with the most responses had to be the one where I opened up a package and found these pretty little pineapple sandals inside.
I may have let out a little squeal when I saw them. How could I not? I love pineapples, and these sandals are perfection!
I wrote a post on Talbots a couple months ago, and I loved their spring line with pretty florals and pastels to celebrate the new season.
Looking into summer, they have some amazing finds, and I couldn’t wait to share them with you!
Let’s go back to the sandals, because why not?! They are worth it! Not only are they pretty, they are comfortable too! They don’t just have a flat base like most summer sandals, but they have a nice padded bottom that makes them easier to wear.
My wristlet is the cutest! Straw bags are everywhere right now, and this wristlet fits in with the trend but on a chic note. I love that it has a zipper to keep everything safely packed away, and a leather wristlet strap as well.
The printed pattern is so fun for summer, and the colour of this clutch makes it so versatile I’ll be wearing it over and over this summer.
THIS DRESS. I’m obsessed with the sleeves. The details on the hem are beautiful! I love wearing white in the summer because it’s so flattering, and it pairs perfectly with my pineapple sandals and fun summer clutch.
Also I just want to note how incredibly comfortable this look is! It’s so easy to wear, and from top to bottom is a really fun and easy look. I can’t wait to match the sandals with some of my other summer dresses, and the clutch would be so easy to pair with other looks in my wardrobe. This dress could be dressed up even more with a pair of heels.
I’m so happy that my week of craziness last week has ended, and I’m back to my regular schedule this week. I’ve been trying to limit the amount of events I attend this year, so normally for the blog I’m trying to keep it down to one night per week. Throw in another night with girl friends and a date night, and that’s already a pretty full week, so keeping launches and events to a minimum is best.
I found last year I didn’t have enough time to see all of my friends, or just have a regular school night with my son where we hang out after his day at school. Even though I get a few of these weeks here or there where I have committed to too much, I know how to tone it down the week after. It’s one of my New Year’s resolutions I’m sticking too!
