Happy Valentine’s Day!
Last night I was up late decorating the house for my son who just loves this holiday. He said it was his favorite holiday this month! Too cute. I hung banners and added table cloths, and the balloons were a bust (I couldn’t blow them up for some reason – they were the Mylar kind), and we gave him a gaudy oversized card and some treats and he was the happiest kid on the planet.
My hubby and I exchanged little gifts and LOTS of chocolate, but he has to work tonight so we are doing our date night this weekend. I think my son and I will just go out on a little date tonight for dinner because I’m pretty sure no one is allowed to cook on Valentine’s Day. It’s like a rule or something.
What says Valentine’s Day more than wearing a cute pom pom sweater and hanging out at a pretty pink spa? I just loved shooting at Maison Blanc in Whitby – it’s the prettiest spot!
Zara kids has the cutest clothing and accessories, and the sizes run larger so I can fit into their lines! This sweater came in all kinds of different colours and pom pom variations so I had a hard time deciding. Isn’t it adorable? I’ve linked above to others that are in adult sizes as well.
I really didn’t think about Zara for jeans before, but I bought two pairs from them in December and I’ve been obsessed! They have the perfect amount of stretch, and although many of their jeans have embellishments and embroidery there are a few pairs that have a more simple style. The price of them is amazing as well.
Keeping these faux-velvet booties clean this winter hasn’t been easy, but somehow I’ve made it this far. So many of my suede boots have been ruined by the snow, but sometimes when a shoe looks good with a look you can’t help but wear it. These boots are a little more delicate so I’ve been careful about wearing them.
I hope you have an amazing Valentine’s Day and it somehow involves chocolate!
