Prepping for the Day with Soap & Glory

Soap & Glory Review

Sometimes a new routine from start to finish is the perfect way to look and feel a little more pampered. I had the chance to try out some products from Soap & Glory, and it was a great way to give myself a little at-home spa experience.

The biggest takeaway from all of these products I tried was the scents – I loved the way they smelled from the container to application! Using each one was a little like having a new signature scent. Also, the packaging is SO fun!

To start, the Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub is perfect way to get your skin prepped for the day! It smells like maple so it’s beyond yummy, and it made my skin super soft. I just love smelling like food – this scrub has the best scent I’ve ever tried in a scrub product. Usually scrubs don’t tend to smell like food, so this one was after my heart.

I followed it up after my shower with Lightly Whipped: Smoothie Star Body Buttercream. By applying it right after my shower it locked in all of the moisture I need for this chilly time of year, and because it’s whipped it provides nourishment but it’s not too heavy.

Before getting dressed I also applied the Original Pink Body Spray – it has a fruity and floral scent that just smells fresh! It’s a small bottle so it’s easy to pop into your purse and go as well.

I think my favourite thing to do at the end of the day is wipe my makeup off! I love doing it with cleansing cloths. It’s so easy to wipe away my face and throw it away. These Soap & Glory Fab Pore T-Zone Cloths CLEAN UP! I’m an oily gal unfortunately, so I need sometimes even use a cloth in the morning as well. These ones did not make me break out at all, and they include a slow-release salicylic acid that help to prevent spots when applied, and for hours after. I love it when a product works after-hours!

After feeling super fresh from the cleansing cloths, I tried out the Scrub Your Nose In It pore refining facial scrub.

The neat thing about this product is you can leave it on for a few minutes instead of just scrubbing it off to help soak up the excess oil and to clarify your skin.

The product exfoliates and brought my skin even more colour after washing it away. After following each of these steps I felt pretty shiny and new. There wasn’t much left to do then just enjoy my clean and exfoliated skin, BUT I wanted to mention one more product from Soap & Glory that I tried.

Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss not only has an amazing name, but the line includes some fun colours.

These glosses include include LIPSWELL Natural Plant Oil Infusion which is a microcirculation-boosting extract that makes your lips feel fuller. My lips tingled a few moments after applying the gloss, and I just loved the natural pretty colours of these glosses.

I tried out Spun Sugar and Candy Queen – both were really flattering.
