What says holiday party more than a little red dress? When I think of the holidays I think of red, so when I saw this pretty lace dress on the hanger at Zara I thought it would be party-perfect! I actually just wore it last week to a dinner party and it was perfect for the event.
Keeping it simple with black boots looked pretty, but I thought I would spice things up a bit with this leopard print moto jacket, also from Zara. Zara has the best moto jackets – I have four of them and I wear them all the time. They look great with just a pair of jeans, but they are the best with dresses because they are a light jacket I could keep wearing at a party without getting too hot.
When I bought this dress I really had a white feathered jacket in mind, and I’m on the hunt for one now so I can give this dress a totally different look the next time I wear it. If you see one, please let me know because I’m having a hard time finding one!
What is your go-to look for a holiday party? Mine is either a sweater dress, dress with a moto jacket like this look, or a skirt and a sweater. Can you tell pants are not part of the equation? Even though it’s absolutely freezing right now, I still love wearing dresses to every party I go to!
