I’ve written a few posts now on my experience visiting Improve Canada (you can find them here and here), and I wanted to highlight a couple more showrooms that really impressed me while I was there!
Over the past year we have been finishing up those home projects that we had set aside for a rainy day, and now were heading into a few larger projects that we may need to turn to the experts for in order to get it done right.
There were two showrooms that I took a deeper look at once I got home from my visit to Improve Canada, and some of their final project photos were exactly what we were hoping to do with a few of our spaces.
Let’s start with my visit to Oak + Tenon!
Oak + Tenon is proudly Canadian, and they work with high profile designers and contractors. They use Canadian lumber for all of their projects, and they not only create gorgeous kitchens but they also envision and execute stunning vanities, built in’s and any other project their clients can dream up! Their Instagram page (which you can visit here) is full of Pinterest-worthy projects that will have you dreaming up what to do with your own space!
This dreamy showroom kitchen was the focus of their showroom, and it was absolutely stunning. Their website houses more images of some of the incredible kitchens they have created, and it’s changed my mind on how I want the layout of my kitchen to be when we renovate it.
It’s amazing that their furniture is produced, manufactured AND assembled here in Canada. Their built in’s are absolutely stunning! The first one is my favourite – it’s gorgeous!
I thought it was interesting that you can receive assistance from Oak + Tenon right from the start with the design process, custom built furniture, and installation. You could complete a whole project with them, and it’s amazing that they can do it all from start to finish.
Another incredible showroom I visited at Improve Canada was Artistic Mosaic. Everything with Artistic Mosaic is customizable, and they do everything from design, supply and installation. They can replicate something you that you have found during your inspiration hunt, or create something based on your own design.
Something that I thought was really interesting is that they can create luxury pool glass mosaic murals. What an incredible idea!
Whether you are just looking for unique materials for your own installation, or a custom design made from glass or marble they can either supply you with or help you create something unique for your home.
Most commonly their customers come to them looking for mosaics for their bathrooms and kitchen backsplashes, but designs in living rooms and dining rooms are becoming very popular for them.
Their showroom had a gorgeous display of some of their materials and I was completely wowed by what I saw!
