When the catalogue for Talbots Fall/Winter 2017 arrived at my door, instantly I was obsessed. I had an idea in my head of how I wanted my fall style to roll out this year, and everything Talbots released was exactly what I envisioned. Polished, pretty and Parisian is how I would describe it! I instantly fell in love with so many things I wondered if it was possible to ONLY wear Talbots moving forward. I’ve honestly never found so many pieces I’ve loved in one place – that never happens to me!
After seeing what they had to offer for spring and summer this year I shouldn’t be surprised. My pineapple sandals were such a hit with everyone this summer – I spent my whole weekend in NYC being asked “where are your sandals from?”.
What do I love most from this look? It has to be the shoes. These gorgeous (and oh-so-comfortable) loafers with their embroidered Eiffel Towers stole my heart. Since I went to Paris years ago I’ve loved anything with an Eiffel Tower on it (it’s like my kryptonite – if I see it on practically anything I have to buy it!), and these shoes are just too perfect.
Speaking of just too perfect, this little charm bracelet is adorable! I love that it has a baguette on it – it’s just everything Paris!
I had actually never worn jeans from Talbots before. These skinny jeans are mid-rise and have a perfectly stretchy fit – they look great with these loafers too!
This little pink sweater has so many little details I love. The scalloped edge collar is such a sweet touch, and the bow detail makes it look so preppy and fun. The collar has a zipper on it at the back so it’s easy to put on, and this pretty pink colour is just the right shade to pair with this jacket.
This jacket. I’m in love. I think it’s perfect with this sweater, but what about with just a t-shirt too? It’s a statement piece for sure, and it’s absolutely beautiful. I feel like I should be attending a tea party, or heading to lunch with the girls in it.
I’m not sure I truly conveyed how much I love this look, but just in case I LOVE THIS LOOK! Talbots has so much right now that you need in your closet it’s actually pretty crazy, so visit them here too and see exactly what I’m so excited about!
