When I think of Jean Machine, I usually think of the obvious – jeans! I’m usually looking for the perfect pair of denim at Jean Machine, and as you have seen on the blog I’ve found the perfect pair more than once!
During my latest visit to the pretty new Jean Machine store at the Oshawa Centre, I was introduced to something I didn’t really know they had which was dresses.
I often shopped at Jean Machine for tanks, tops, sweaters, and even accessories like scarves and hats, but I didn’t realize that they carried an impressive number of dresses that ranged from casual day dresses to holiday-party-ready dresses!
My Master of Denim stylist turned my attention to this velvet floral dress which was perfect for me! It’s not only fitted, but it was cozy and warm for these frigid days we’ve been having. It has a mock neck so it’s a bit more interesting, and it’s stretchy enough that I could just pull it on or off instead of needed to reach one of those impossible back zippers.
The pattern on this dress is so fun, and just my style! I finished off this look with an oversized grey coat that went with this dress perfectly because of its length and understated grey colour. This dress needed to pop, and by pairing it with this grey coat it had its opportunity to shine.
I LOVE this look! The dress is so pretty and perfect with this comfy pair of booties and coat. I was surprisingly warm in this look, and was ready for a night out in this outfit!
There were a few holiday dresses that I tried on, and I know exactly where to go to grab a dress when a holiday party pop’s up in the next few weeks.
