This coat always seems to pop up on social media ads for me, and I finally decided to choose it for fall. The funny thing is that I already have this jacket….in two other patterns. I might be addicted to this coat. It’s warm, and I love the way it looks tied at the waist.
Our Halloween turned out to be pretty amazing, and I don’t think our kids will ever want to go back to an average Halloween! I was frozen all weekend for our outdoor visits and events, but the kids didn’t seem to feel the cold at all. Meanwhile I think I had about 6 hot chocolates all weekend to stay warm!
The big plan was to have the Christmas tree up this Sunday but I spent most of the day relaxing on the couch eating Halloween candy and Christmas shopping, so up it goes this week. Actually, it seems like a lot of work so I’m not quite as excited as usual. I think so much prep went into Halloween this year that it seems I need a few days of continuing to eat that candy on the couch.
It was so freezing this weekend that I gave in and started wearing winter boots. And then I bought another cute pair on their way to me now! I can’t wait until they arrive – it will make freezing a little more fun!
