Fall has been gorgeous in our area this year. I have to say I’ve loved taking long walks with my dog Chloe just loving every moment of this gorgeous weather and the setting.

We ended up taking photos in my neighborhood this time around because I accidentally forgot a key part of our shoot, which was my outfits! I’ve actually forgotten them before on a shoot with Tara – luckily, she still puts up with me!

It’s been a lot colder than expected lately, but I still try to just bundle up with a sweater rather than pulling out my coats. I can feel winter coming, but I still want to enjoy these days where I don’t need wear layers upon layers.

I actually used to hate turtlenecks. I tried to avoid them because I felt like I would always overheat in them, but I’ve learned to just choose lighter fabrics when I find a turtleneck I like. This one has an asymmetrical shape which is fun, along with colourblocking so it’s a bit more interesting. Chicwish has quite a few turtlenecks I love right now – they really are my go-to for sweaters at this time of year for me.

I’ve heard the Christmas music in stores and I feel that pressure to start holiday shopping, but I’m just not there yet. I want to enjoy this time of year a little bit longer!
