Once we added this amazing pergola to our dock, we knew that we needed a great fire pit to go along with it. I had seen so many photos online of people enjoying their Solo Stove, that I wanted to see what one was like myself.
We decided to order the largest Solo Stove – the Yukon 2.0 which is 27 inches in diameter. The Solo Stove is stainless steel so it’s a really gorgeous addition to our deck, and it’s smokeless.
Their Signature 360° Airflow super-heats air to burn off smoke – this means after sitting around the fire your clothing and hair won’t smell like smoke as it normally would with a fire. It also means you won’t need to worry about teary-eyes from a smoky fire, or needing to move chairs so the fire isn’t blowing smoke on you. It’s easy to light, and overall it’s an easy experience!
The Solo Stove is so easy to light, and the assembly is a breeze because everything is ready to go! We added the new removeable ash pan which protects the deck and also helps getting rid of the ashes at the end of the fire.
The Solo Stove is made of 304 stainless steel so it is highly durable. I also love that it’s easy to move around! We can bring it with us to our house when we want to because it’s so lightweight, and it would also be great for camping as well. Solo Stove also provides a lifetime warranty!
I love that after enjoying the fire at the dock and roasting marshmallows my hair and clothing didn’t smell like smoke at all. It was great to not worry about smoke blowing in our faces, and it’s awesome that this Solo Stove is so easy to light a fire in. I’m looking forward to moving it to our backyard as well when we want to make ‘smores.
