I can’t believe I spent the day back-to-school shopping yesterday! I do love this time of year, but it just kind of showed up fast. August is absolutely flying by!

I know the first day of school will probably be hot but we bought lots of pants and sweatshirts and all of the other usual back-to-school staples.

My son has his own style for sure, and he said this fall his style is “mondern-classic”, so I was just trying to keep trying to figure out what that meant!

I did love seeing him jumping from rack to rack showing me what’s cool.

For me I was still looking for a couple dresses to end the summer because it’s still pretty hot!

This dress from Chicwish that I’m wearing is one I’ll be having photos taken in again in Martha’s Vineyard. The day I took these photos it was a bit chilly so I threw on this J.Crew jacket I’ve had for ages, but I’m hoping on the island it will stay warm enough for this gorgeous dress.

I love anything with pretty embroidery, and this dress has the most gorgeous detail.

We have lot’s of fun summer activities for the next few weeks on our bucket list before school starts so I’m not sad summer is ending at all!
