Graphic Tee’s and Tanks with Something to Say

I may not actually have More Issues Than Vogue like my t-shirt says (I guess it depends on who you speak to about me), but I like how fun this t-shirt is.

The slogan trend on graphic tanks and tees is picking up everywhere, and while some of the sayings can be a little cheesy, many are cute and clever.

I paired my own tee with a pretty dressed-down ensemble, but I have seen some great shirts paired with tulle skirts and heels.

Grand Opening of Never Grow Up Toronto

This past weekend I attended the grand opening of Never Grow Up – a hip children’s clothing store located at 1725 Bayview Avenue in Toronto. This is the second location for Never Grow Up – you can also find them in Oakville!

There were sweet treats, and lots of great clothing options for boys and girls aged newborn to 10 years old.

They carry designers like Andy and Evan, Blune, Chic Mammas, Electrik Kidz, Hucklebones, Lazy Pants, Knot, and one of my personal favourites, Ollie Jones!

There are too many to list – lots of different brands, and nothing like you would find at the mall. I love shopping in kids boutiques like this one because there are some really hip and fresh styles.

There was everything from sequins and tutu’s for girls, to rough and tumble alligator sweatshirts for boys.

It’s a kid-friendly space with lots of room to maneuver a stroller inside, and the space itself is playful and pretty.

I really loved these Ollie Jones leggings! I hate to always dress my son in jeans, so I often put him in boys leggings for comfort and style. How great are these patterns?

This new shop is going into my rotation when shopping for my friends children, and of course my own fashion forward toddler. I really loved how stylish some of the clothing was. It’s fun to get a few special pieces that not all of the other kids are going to be wearing on the playground.

Bold Patterned Shorts for Summer

I’m a big fan of jean shorts in the summer, but recently I’ve really liked wearing dressy shorts for a night out. Some shorts are just as flirty and cute as a skirt would be. There are some really great pattered shorts out there right now that are a lot more fun then casual cut-offs. These patterned shorts can be completely dressed down with sandals or flats. Heels or a wedge make them stand out to make them a great dinner and drinks outfit.

These patterned shorts I’m wearing are from H&M. I wish there was a cute blazer to match!

I kept things neutral with white on top, but it would be really fun to mix a clashing print with a pair of patterned shorts as well. My favourite way to “clash” patterns right now is a striped shirt on top with a floral print on the bottom!

New Summer Fragrances From Lampe Berger – Exotic Cocktail & Daring Pepper

Summer calls for lighter scents in my home, and the new Lampe Berger scents are a prefect way to freshen things up!

Lampe Berger launches new fragrances throughout the year which seem to fit perfectly with the changing seasons, and these latest scents are no different.

To be honest, the scent Daring Pepper doesn’t have the name of a scent I would normally chose. I had no idea what this one was going to smell like, but it was surprisingly good!

It has an undertone of leather and spices, but it also smells of raspberry and vanilla. Such a crazy combination, but it’s so good! It’s a little masculine and fruity all at the same time.

Exotic Cocktail is the definition of summer. Flavours of rum, coconut, roasted coffee and vanilla. It smells like a tropical vacation, or a fruity cocktail. This is my new favourite scent.

I’m loving both of these fresh new scents in my home, especially on rainy days when I just want to think of hot summer days when I’m stuck inside!

Sweetpea Organic Cookie Review

Sometimes it’s fun to pick up the mail at my house, especially when it ends up being a treat for my son. He usually tries opening up all of my packages anyway, but this time it was something for both of us.

Sweetpea Organic Cookies are a much healthier option to regular cookies – they are organic, vegan, made with 100% whole grain, and have no preservatives. They are also produced in a nut-free bakery. They have no dairy, eggs, salt, and are certified kosher.

I am always travelling with snacks. I rarely leave the house without one when I have my son or we will likely have a meltdown on our hands.

I love that these Sweetpea Organic Cookies have a re-sealable bag – it’s so much easier to grab and go that way! Normally things that are this easy to pack are usually processed or are really not a healthy option, but luckily these organic cookies are a pretty healthy treat.

There are three flavours – Pumpkin Spice, Banana Pear and Sweet Apple. My son tried them all, amd liked them all! It was nice to have a snack for him that I liked as well. I really liked the Pumpkin Spice cookies!

The packaging is cute as well, and claims the cookies are for kids 1 – 101. The re-sealable packaged realy seemed to keep the cookies fresh after the bag was opened for a few days which was great.
