I was challenged to do some serious shopping by Dixie Outlet Mall, and I feel like I not only met it, but I stomped on it with my cute new Guess heels!

I had a great time shopping, and Dixie Outlet Mall gave me lot’s of great options for stores, and also for great deals!

The “She Who Hunts Finds” Blogger Challenge asked us to spend a $200 gift card at Dixie Outlet Mall, and we had to curate the perfect spring outfit while keeping track of how much we saved.

I have been a huge floral fan this spring, so I knew I wanted to find something in a floral patterned print with some crisp white accessories.

My floral dress was from Urban Planet and get this – it was only $20! I would have paid so much more for this dress, but getting it at only $20 means that I had more money to spend on the challenge.

My white leather jacket was from Guess, and I thought it was the perfect spring jacket for my dress. It normally retailed for $95.00, but I got it for $42.00!

My shoes were another amazing deal – I loved the color and the style. They were regular $69.99 but I got them on sale for $52.50.

For my accessories I headed to Winners and picked up this cute white clutch for only $24.99, regular price $49.99. The clutch also converts to a handbag with a longer hidden strap, and with it being white it virtually goes with everything.

I love having a great ring with a little sparkle, and this one from Winners was a steal at $29.99 instead of the regular price of $59.99.

I think the outfit I put together is just my style, and great for spring!

In total I saved $125.50 on my outfit! I think that’s pretty amazing. I think all of the pieces are pretty transitional so I can wear the Guess heels with all kinds of different outfits, the Guess leather jacket is a great piece for spring, and the accessories can be mixed and matched with with almost anything. The dress itself is great for a dinner date or girls night, but if I wore it with flats and a sweater it would be pretty for a shower or lunch.

What’s next for the challenge? Well, the bloggers in the challenge are going to give our readers a chance to do some shopping too!

It was a rough weekend working on the blog – I had to go shopping! I am not allowed to show you what I got, but I am at least allowed to show you my shopping bags!

I gave myself an hour to get to the mall, and made it there in about 50 minutes from Whitby which wasn’t bad!

I had two hours to shop before the mall closed, and I almost didn’t have enough time because I kept getting off track. I knew what I was shopping for, but then I saw so many other things I decided I “needed”.

To prep for the She Hunts She Finds Blogger Challenge, I created a mood board for my outfit inspiration. Before I do a specific outfit shop I always pull images from online or from magazines to remember what sort of theme my outfit should have.

As you can see my theme was florals because it’s such a big trend for spring right now. I really wanted to find something very girly.

I made sure I had a comfy outfit on to shop in, and I was on my way!

While I was at the mall I had A LOT of store options for where to shop. Tommy Hilfiger, Danier, Aeropostale, Guess, Aldo, Nine West – too many to name, and they were all outlets!

I had $200 to spend as part of challenge, and I really did need that calculator to spend everything I had. From what I purchased, I saved a lot because of all the deals happening at the mall. I can’t wait to share my outfit next week along with my savings.

I posted earlier this week about The Exhibit and one of the amazing pieces they sent me – the Melissa Layered necklace.

The other piece they sent me was one I actually didn’t choose myself, but I ended up absolutely loving it! I wanted a necklace called the Crystal Aztec Bib, but instead the Crystal Rio Bib ($55 CDN) was suggested, and I am so glad it’s mine.

This necklace is gorgeous. The quality is outrageous, and the colors are so fun. I was worried about what to wear with it, but once it arrived I realized the colors went with much of my wardrobe.

I ended up wearing I for a lovely night out in Las Vegas to the Wynn where we had dinner and saw Le Reve. It thought it went perfect with this dress and shoes courtesy of Charlotte Russe.

The necklace has some weight to it, but it wasn’t so heavy that I noticed during the night, or that my neck hurt. It just felt like it had some value compared to some of my other jewelry pieces.
