Every time I look at a sweater with pearls I think to myself, does this need to be dry cleaned? I’m not really a dry cleaning kind of person (I might go once a year, and mostly take my chances with the washing machine instead), so although I love sweaters with pearls I always think twice before choosing one!

I’m happy to report that although you are likely supposed to dry clean this sweater I did wash it, and I didn’t lose a pearl! I just air dried it to be safe – I’m not completely reckless I suppose.

I have so many tracksuits (and I actually bought another one today!), but it’s nice to occasionally throw on a pair of jeans and nice sweater. I’ve tried to dress up a little once a week, but once a week is as far as I’ve gotten!

A further lock down has been announced, and it’s a little depressing to say the least. January is hard enough as it is, but there isn’t much to do but try to be positive about it. It’s sad to think we will be home so much longer, and that more businesses need to try to survive these next weeks. My son really missed his friends, but we are trying to stay connected as much as we can. I’m hoping that by the time we reach the summer this will all hopefully be over so we can have some semblance of normalcy!
