I have to admit that sometimes I’m swayed by cute packaging! When I saw some of the products from Alya Skin, I think the first thing that popped out of my mouth was “it’s all so cute!”. I had heard the hype about their Pink Clay Mask, and I was really excited to try out their products and go beyond the packaging.

Alya Skin is made in Australia, and everything in their collection is vegan and cruelty-free. I tried the Alya Skin Pink Clay Mask first just because I was so excited to see how it would work. To state things basically, it’s pink, and it smells amazing! My son saw me walking down the hallway with it on and said “that smells so good!”. The ingredients of the mask include aloe vera to soothe, lactic acid for a bit of exfoliation, pomegranate fruit extract (which is rich in antioxidants), and kaolin and bentonite to draw out impurities.

The verdict? This mask is totally worth the hype! I had a favourite mask I would travel to NYC to pick up, and this one has bumped it off my counter. My skin was instantly brighter, and I have pigment issues with my skin that I truly felt the mask has helped with. My skin just feels so pure when I remove it, and I feel like I’ve been dealing less with breakouts since I’ve been using it once a week. The mask becomes quite stiff as it dries so I was worried my skin would become dried out once I took it off, but I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case.

There’s another Alya Skin product that I’ve been using every day since it arrived, and it’s their Foaming Micellar Cleanser.

I love a good micellar product, and this one really removes EVERYTHING! My makeup tends to just stay put on my face even after I use any kind of remover, but the Alya Skin Foaming Micellar Cleanser removes every last bit! I love that it’s foaming because I really feel like it helps with keeping my skin moisturized even though so much is being cleansed.

The other reason I like that it’s foaming is that I feel like it’s much less messy without needing cotton balls or makeup removing pads. My oily skin really responds to it well, and I feel like it’s helping keep my skin more balanced.

The adorable packaging definitely draws you in, but these skincare gems definitely worth all of the good things I’ve heard about them!
