Fabulous Tulle Skirts from Space 46 Boutique

Tulle skirts have been taking over my Instagram and Pinterest feeds, and I’ve been dying to get my hands on one.

With a little research I found out that the most fabulous ones come from Space 46 Boutique!

They are designed and handcrafted in the home of sun and surf in Orange County, California. Space 46 tulle skirts are sold at select boutiques worldwide and online, which was great news for me since I’m based all the way in Canada (probably the opposite of Orange County!).

What did I need a tulle skirt for? Well I really wanted just to have one to play dress up, but my actual reason to make the purchase was that we had family photos scheduled this fall and I needed something fun to wear.

The boutique’s website features a Real Style Gallery, where customers who have purchased a skirt have allowed their photos to be posted so you can get a better idea of how they look for fit and style.

Not only are there lots of options for the colour, length, and style of their tulle skirts, there are also dresses and garters as well.

Skirts can even be ordered in a custom fit, and there are skirts for young girls starting at size 5-6, running up to size 12-13.

I decided to purchase the tulle skirt called The Wendy in Soft Pink.

It arrived wrapped with care, and a very polite thank you!

The skirt was everything I hoped it would be – pink, pretty, and fabulous. I immediately started playing dress up. There are so many ways to wear this skirt!

I was so impressed with the quality, and the fit was exactly as described on the site.

Just wondering – how tall are you, and what was the length of the skirt? 🙂 I’m almost 5’5″, but not sure if I should order the 22″ or the 25″.

How long did it take to ship to Canada?

They have three different shipping options which is awesome! I chose the middle option which was up to 10 business days, and that’s exactly how long it took. The faster you want it the more expensive it is, and shipping could be a little pricey.

Love your outfit! I’ve considered buying this skirt for a long time but I am not sure what size I should order. Is this skirt true to size? I am a size 27-28 in jeans I am battling between size M and L. Let me know thanks!

Thank you! I’m a size 25 and I bought a small. It was snug! It fit great but I felt like if I had a steak dinner it wouldn’t have fit as nicely! 🙂

i have been battling with myself about getting one for my wedding for about 6 months now from them but they take forever to get back to me with my questions if you don’t mind me asking what was the pricing like with the exchange rate and was there a lot of duty? Also im not sure on their sizing i got my seamstress to measure me and she said i was 29 1/2 inches (im a size 26 in pants) and they said i would need a XL ? that seem so off to me

I’m also very slender and was surprised that my waist measurement was 29 inches which is a Large! Can anyone provide any guidance on this? I feel like I am missing something…
