I was one of the loud one’s clamouring for fall, and once it arrived I was happily frolicking in the leaves at every farm I could get to over the few weekends it lasted. Now it seems like winter is almost here since the mornings are leaving frost on my window’s and there is a serious chill in the air!

I’m hoping fall will stay a bit longer because I’m loving wearing layers instead of jackets. This cozy cardigan is from Uniqlo, and so are these leggings that are probably the best one’s I’ve ever owned! They are so comfortable, and they have a waist band that I don’t need to pull at all the time because they are falling down like most of my leggings! This sweater is SO soft – I hate a scratchy sweater, but this one take softness to a new level. It’s like wearing a teddy bear!

The reason I’m most excited for fall right now is because I have a fun fall getaway happening this weekend with a few of my favourite ladies! We are leaving Friday afternoon for a weekend of relaxation! I really need a break, and I’m so excited to have one that includes spa treatments.

Stay tuned for a weekend road trip that hopefully includes lots of Starbucks trips, Uggs, and frolicking in the leaves – you know, a basic girls weekend!!
