I’m not sure what happened, but January disappeared. The Christmas break seemed so long to me (which was amazing!), and then I blinked and the month is almost over!

I actually don’t mind too much because January is always so…blah. Sure I’m drinking water more and going to the gym more often, but other than that not much is happening! I feel like I have so many more fun plans starting in February!

We’ve been working on more house projects which are really never-ending for us. We just installed new carpet in our upstairs bedrooms, bought some new lighting for the downstairs hallway, bought my son a new bed, and we’ve got a few other winter projects on the go. Nothing too exciting – the laundry room continues to be my new favourite room and I’m staying on top of my laundry because I like hanging out in there!

I’m trying to change out of my sweats more because I truly lived in them over the Christmas break, and I’ve been wearing winter whites quite a bit. I love wearing white all year round, especially now since things are so bleak outside! My copper coloured jacket is actually more of a sweater so it’s very very comfortable! I thought it looked so good with white so I layered up, and it feels like I’m wearing my sweats.

If you haven’t been to Jacked up Coffee in Whitby, you need to go! It’s amazing in the summer to hang out on their artificial turf front lawn, but it’s really nice to change up the scenery a bit for getting work done there while sipping on an iced hot chocolate. Stop by sometime!
