Tonight I was going to show off a recipe I put together on Instagram Stories, but everything went wrong. Flames literally shot up off of the burner, so I quickly salvaged the meal, fed it to my family, and searched for wine in the house instead!
This hasn’t really been my week at all – everything seems a little off, and I am basically crawling to the weekend at this point.
Hopefully your week is going much better than mine! Nothing is exactly going horribly wrong, but nothing has been easy. It doesn’t help that I’ve stayed up WAY too late these last couple nights catching up on The Real Housewives? Which show exactly you might be wondering? I watch all of them – New Jersey, Atlanta and Beverly Hill right now, plus Vanderpump Rules and Summer House. Basically I’m the queen of trashy TV.
Anyway…..I picked up this plaid shirt a couple months ago and it’s SO soft and comfortable. I have a pretty large plaid section in my closet, and this one is my current favourite because the fit is comfortable, and it’s not too heavy.
My Guess jeans are actually from Jean Machine, and Guess seems to be overtaking my denim collection lately. I still have quite a few Frame Denim and Rag & Bone pairs as well, but Guess has had some great fitting jeans come out this past year and I’ve been stocking up.
Comfy layers are where it’s at right now! The temps have ranged from frigid to manageable these last few days, so I love being able to throw off a layer if I’m too hot!
I’m taking some time off from the blog for the next week because I will be in the Bahamas, but stay tuned to my social media channels if you are interested in seeing palm trees and the ocean!
