Our bedroom is about a week away from being done, and I’m so excited to share exactly what we have been working on this whole time.
We decided to do a little revamp of the space, and this has included all new furniture and new crown molding and wainscotting!
What started out as choosing a new bed from Wayfair ended up with us choosing a whole new room from their website! They truly had everything we needed to make over our space, and ordering from them has always been so easy for us. We didn’t have any long wait times for our items to arrive, and some arrived only two days after we placed our order! We are really happy Wayfair partnered with us for this makeover!
First off, I’d love to show you a before photo, and then a progress photo of our bedroom.
I hate sharing before photos! Basically we didn’t do much with our room once me moved into our house, so we were long overdue for a makeover. My husband installed the crown molding and wainscotting, and we actually decided to paint it the same colour grey as the walls.
I create an idea board for every project we do in our home, and as I mentioned it all started with a bed….
We had the same bed and side tables in our room as long as we’ve been living together so it was time for a change! I chose the prettiest duvet cover to go along with it, and I am pretty obsessed with my bedside tables! I love the gold accents!
I looked for lamps the longest – I just couldn’t decide! Wayfair has so many different options (I love that many are sold in pairs), but I ended up going with something I love – pineapples!
I was worried that the lamps wouldn’t be big enough, but once they arrived I was so happy because they are gorgeous!
All of the accessories in the room will be gold (including some beautiful framed prints!), and the one thing that I chose that was a little out there is the green velvet chair!
I did a little poll on Instagram with four different chairs, and everyone who voted went with the grey chair! I’ve decided to go outside the box despite the poll, and I’m adding this chair to the mix!
Wayfair had everything we needed for this room, and I’m so happy to be unpacking the boxes now and putting things together! It should all be done next week, and I can’t wait to share the final reveal with you!
