Is it officially chunky sweater weather yet? Some days around here yes, and some days no! I had quite the collection of sweaters last year but it’s amazing how some of them get worse for wear the more you wash them. I’m so really to freshen up my whole collection – I also have a huge love for cozy grey sweaters so I’ve added a few to my collection already.

I love the length of this sweater, and that it has a fun slit on the side – is it for air conditioning? Maybe more for style, but sometimes I overheat so I’m into the slit for sure.

I picked up these skinny jeans stateside and I love their stretch! I just love a good low rise stretchy jean – because I wear that style so often it makes wearing any other kind of jean a form of torture. I want spaghetti. And garlic bread. AND dessert, so I need room for a little expansion.

One place I can think of where I’ll need a cozy sweater is the rink! My son started hockey a few weeks ago, and people warned me it was cold watching, but it’s REALLY cold watching. My son’s played soccer for years (a sport I LOVE myself), but we thought we should try the hockey this winter as well. So now we are doing soccer AND hockey this winter. It’s pretty busy along with everything else we have going on, but our son seems to love both sports so it’s fun. It’s hard to believe that after only a couple weeks he’s on the ice playing hockey – we had a rough first day but we took him to the rink to practice a couple times and how he’s off chasing pucks. Serious sigh of relief from his father and I – we just wanted him to have fun, and now he really is!
