I hope you a great long weekend! We did – the weather was wild, but we still found a way to spend most of the weekend outside which was nice! I tried to paddleboard but the weather didn’t cooperate, but my son had a chance to get on the water. We have a busy weekend coming up so it was nice to spend a bit of downtime before things really get crazy! The official start to my soccer season and my son’s is next week so I’ve had a lot to do this week to get ready – mostly for his soccer team.
I’m just starting to shop for a trip we have coming up but I think it’s going to be very very hot so I’m not exactly doing well on the shopping front! I need to put together at least four outfits to spend all day outside in and I haven’t had any luck yet. I have an idea in my head of what I would like to wear but I haven’t found what I’m looking for yet. If you have seen any cute matching sets of tops and skirts in your travels please let me know – I’m hoping to find some for my trip!
This dress would be perfect for my trip if it was sleeveless, but it’s even more perfect now since the weather has been hot one minute and cold the next. I love the colours on this dress – the orange and pink is so fun. The skirt looks great the way it ruffles once the belt is tied. Throwing on a jean jacket with it makes it perfect to wear in the evening as well.
I think I wear my long sleeved dresses more than any other in my closet because they are great in the spring, but also if I add some darker accessories or thick nylons I can wear them in the winter as well. That’s what I would call fashion multitasking!
As usual at this time of year I’m on the hunt for shorts that actually cover my backside. I swear every season they get shorter and shorter! Hopefully I’ll find a few pairs soon that work for me. They are something I can never shop for online – I need to try them on in-person so it’s a little tougher to shop for.
Have an amazing week!
