Oh hey Monday! I’ve been tired all day since I decided drinking a Coke Slurpee at 8pm last night after soccer was a good idea. It was not. I stayed up to watch the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and then stayed up to watch all kinds of other random shows and suddenly Monday morning came and I was tired already.
I was so tired that I decided by about 9:30am we were ordering pizza for dinner. I wouldn’t call myself organized or put together today, but I’ll try again tomorrow.
Our weekend was full of soccer, hockey, a date night, hockey, then a Sunday afternoon that was very lazy, and soccer again. January just feels like a lazy month in general, and I’m kind of loving it. An afternoon nap on a Sunday felt so good!
I’ve been planning for an upcoming trip because it turns out I’m only happy when I’m planning an upcoming trip!
Where to next? A short visit to the Bahamas to my favourite resort, and then we are going on a little road trip for my birthday that I am trying to figure out now. Road trips are the hardest to figure out – making stops, figuring out where to rest along the way, and timing for each destination all make things complicated. I don’t mind driving so much, but I did look into flights to where I want to go but they are next to impossible to find unless you hire a private plane!
I’ll keep working away on planning this week, and to be honest I’m loving every minute! The only thing I love more is shopping for what I’m going to wear on my trip!
