This past weekend I hung out with my boys at the mall, and let me tell you – they totally slowed me down. My husband is actually pretty amazing and told me to shop in whatever store I wanted while he kept our son busy, but I felt like I was literally dragging two humans around all day!
It was really nice day though – I slept in, went to Starbucks, I didn’t have to drive (I’m always driving people around so it was nice to be the passenger), I browsed through some stores, picked up these cute new sandals (I have them in brown too which my husband miraculously remembered), grabbed some new spring finds from Nordstrom, had an awesome lunch at Restoration Hardware, and capped off the day with more Starbucks, and a stop at Laduree for a box of Macarons. Such a relaxing shopping day!
We had dinner with my parents that night, and then I set to work on my son’s birthday party invitations. They had to be delivered to each of his friends doors because they were so big, so that’s how we spent Sunday. I’ll be blogging about the party because I’ve put together some really cute details for it!
Last week was FREEZING around here, but this week it’s brightening and warming up, so I’m planning on getting good use out of this new pink jacket! I’ve had a similar jacket in green (that I still love) but I’m ready to brighten things up a little, even if the weather isn’t fully participating!
These boots! So cute right?! I have a couple pairs of taller boots, but these short ones are so much fun! They come in some super cute colours, but I just love the pink!
Side note – I broke my favourite ceramic pineapple I used to keep in my closet on display – if anyone has seen a large pineapple anywhere I can replace it with, please send me the link!
