Skirt – Chicwish // Shoes – Christian Louboutin (dupes here!) // T-Shirt – Target // Bag – Gucci (here’s another one I love!)
I think this is the LONGEST break I’ve ever taken from the blog! I’ve actually been very active on social media with our last vacation of the summer with stories and photos, but I’ve taken a bit of time away from actually blogging unintentionally! We were getting ready for our trip, summer was crazy, travelling was crazier, and with back-to-school suddenly I realized I had to get working again!
Let’s start it off with a bang – wouldn’t you call this the cutest skirt you’ve ever seen? I know, I really seem to love tulle skirts (you can find the evidence here and here. Oh, and here!), but this one is on a whole other level!
Throw a leather jacket over this one and I’m hoping I’ll be casual enough for a dinner or a fun event with my girlfriends. This is definitely not what I’m wearing for school pick up, but wouldn’t that be fun?! Probably not for my son who is suddenly very embarrassed by everything I seem to do. Fun times.
We are starting to roll back into our fall schedule with soccer and hockey this week. It’s already a struggle with both potentially being at the same time, but hopefully we can make it all work. It’s so hard to decide what to sign up for and what to commit to when it comes to sports! We are still in the stage of trying to determine what our son loves because every time we ask him the answer changes. I can’t believe how registration for each sport costs as well! The registration fees are enormous, let alone when your child decides to play competitively.
It’s my first time in a few years not attending TIFF this year. I thought I would be a little sad about it, but to be honest I don’t mind! After just getting back from our trip I need a bit of time at home before we go away again on our cruise. I’m not even close to being ready for our cruise so that is going to be my focus over the next couple weeks!
I hope you are all having a great start to September!
