Happy Thursday! I love Thursday’s as it is, but I’m even happier that tomorrow is the start of a long weekend!
I’m having a big dinner tomorrow for Easter, so as I write this I’m surrounded by all of the groceries I picked up today so I could get cooking tomorrow. I’ve decided to torture myself a bit more by not only making a giant turkey, but a ham tomorrow as well. Oh and I’m making home-made stuffing and cranberry sauce as well just to really put myself over the edge. My husband called today and asked if he should get a bottle of wine for dinner, and a bottle of wine for the day while I cook! He knows me so well.
Normally I shy away from pants (I’m a dress girl all the way), but I just love statement pants. These wide-leg trousers are not only crazy comfortable, but I think they are so pretty! The belted waist gives a bit more of a shape to them so I’m not swimming in them, and they look amazing with a good heel. I feel like I should be bossing someone around in them!
This is a blouse I wore with this other look that I love because it looks great tucked into pants and skirts.
My trusty Louboutin’s make everything look good – they can’t help it! They are so much more comfortable than my taller So Kate 120 Louboutin’s because they are so uncomfortable. I’ve tried and tried with them but they really hurt my feet, and although I’ve been told not to stretch them because could damage the shoe, I think it’s time to give it a try because I’d love to walk more than ten feet in them.
This outfit is the perfect alternative to wearing a dress to a girls night out, or even instead of wearing a power suit – it just looks so polished! I almost look professional! Almost – moments before this shot I was eating Macaron’s sitting on a bar stool at M & R Cakes and Cafe, so I’m lucky I didn’t spill anything on myself.
Have an amazing holiday weekend! I’ll catch you next week with more looks for spring!
